In a world where the entirety of the dead is stored in “Books” in the library, three people live under harsh circumstances. Among them is a boy named Corio Tonis, who has had his memory and ability to think stolen and has a bomb implanted in his chest. The three visit Toatto, a mining town of “Books.”
Corio’s sole purpose in life had been to kill Hamutz Meseta, the world’s most powerful armed librarian. However, he falls in love at first sight with the “Book” of a beautiful princess.
A battle begins between Hamutz Meseta and the assassins lying in wait to kill him, and Corio, caught in the middle despite having fallen in love, is swept up into the chaos.
