Following the submersion of the Golden Kingdom underground by a deranged magician, its king emerges, pledging his treasures to anyone who can vanquish the sorcerer before disintegrating into dust. Driven by this promise, guilds embark on a journey through the labyrinthine dungeon to locate the magician. Laios, the leader of one such guild, faces a devastating encounter with a dragon that obliterates his party and consumes his sister, Falin. Despite losing all their supplies, Laios, accompanied by Marcille, an elven healer, and Chilchuck, a halfling thief, reenters the dungeon with the sole determination to rescue Falin.
Recognizing the urgency, Laios proposes the unconventional idea of consuming dungeon monsters for sustenance. As they prepare their first meal, a dwarf named Senshi intervenes. An avid enthusiast of monster cooking, Senshi assists them in safely preparing their monster ingredients. Upon discovering Laios' predicament, Senshi expresses a desire to cook a dragon and eagerly joins their guild, marking the beginning of their gastronomic exploration of the dungeon together.
