On a spring night, Kakeru Sorano is invited by his roommate in the university dorm, Narumi, to a welcome party.
There, he meets a visually impaired woman named Koharu Fuyutsuki.
She laughs often and speaks of her dreams—someone completely opposite to Kakeru himself.
From the day he picks up her white cane on his way back from a lecture, the distance between them slowly begins to close.
“I want to set off fireworks.”
In those words, Kakeru sees a kind of light he has never truly faced before.
A girl who cannot see, and a boy who has closed his heart.
This is the delicate love story of two people searching for light together.
