“One drop changes everything.”
When world-renowned wine critic Toyotaka Kanzaki passes away, he leaves behind a wine collection worth over 12 billion yen.
In his will, he declares that whoever can correctly identify the twelve great wines he chose—the “Twelve Apostles”—and the legendary single bottle at the top, the “Drops of God,” including both brand and vintage, will inherit his entire fortune.
The challenge draws two contenders: Shizuku Kanzaki, Toyotaka’s own son who, despite receiving elite wine education, has never tasted wine and has long defied his father; and Issei Tomine, a young charismatic wine critic adopted into the Kanzaki family.
What is wine? What is family? What is life?
Now begins a complex, richly layered battle over the mythical wine—the “Drops of God.”
