"Senshadou" is a traditional sport featuring World War II era tanks in elimination-style matches. Widely embraced by women and girls, it's promoted as an art form aimed at elevating women's prominence in culture while attracting male interest. Gradually evolving into a global phenomenon, senshadou leads to the establishment of a world championship set to take place in Japan.
Miho Nishizumi hails from a respected lineage of senshadou experts but has distanced herself from the sport following a traumatic incident that led to her retirement and strained family ties. Seeking to avoid senshadou, she transfers to Ooarai Girls Academy, which had previously disbanded its tankery program. However, with news of the impending championships, the school resurrects its tankery program, and Miho is compelled to join.
Now, with the support of newfound friends, she must confront her past and assume command of a tank squadron once more to save her school from closure. Along the way, she aims to demonstrate to her family that the Nishizumi-style of senshadou encompasses more than just victory.
