If there’s one word that defines Reiji Ozora, it’s “quitter.” He never seems able to stick with anything, losing motivation almost as soon as he starts. That changes when his best friend, Maiko, introduces him to a brand-new game called Dragon Drive.
In this virtual reality world, each player is paired with a dragon that reflects their personality and potential. Reiji dreams of commanding a massive, fearsome creature—but instead ends up with Chibi, a small, cute, and harmless-looking dragon no bigger than himself. At first, it feels like a huge letdown… until he learns that Chibi is actually the rarest dragon of all.
For the first time, Reiji finds something he truly wants to commit to. Determined to improve, he trains alongside his unusual partner, growing stronger together. Before long, their efforts are put to the test as they are drawn into a battle to protect the world from those with sinister plans for Dragon Drive.
