High school student Akira Oda is suddenly summoned to another world along with his classmates.
Each of them receives a unique cheat ability as part of the summoning—
But due to Akira's naturally unnoticeable presence, the power he’s granted is… a seemingly unimpressive “Assassin” class.
However, despite the humble title, Akira’s status numbers easily surpass even those of the legendary "Hero" class—!
Sensing something off about the behavior of the king who summoned them, Akira hides his abilities and begins to investigate the truth behind the summoning.
But just as he uncovers the dark conspiracy, he’s framed for a crime he didn’t commit and becomes a fugitive.
Swearing vengeance on the king, Akira flees into the unexplored depths of a forbidden labyrinth,
where he encounters a mysterious elven girl named Amelia.
Thus begins the tale of a boy who was granted the power of an “Assassin,”
and his journey—alongside a girl of the forest—
to become a true assassin in both name and strength.
