The story follows the decade-long journey of a girl striving to become an idol. Yuu Azuma, a high school student, harbors aspirations of achieving idol status.
To realize her dream, she imposes four strict rules upon herself: abstaining from social media engagement, avoiding romantic entanglements, keeping a low profile at school, and forging friendships with girls representing each cardinal direction: north, south, east, and west.
