In a world where heroes who stand out receive applause, "trust" is what creates superheroes. If people believe that "he can fly," the man will gain the ability to fly. On the other hand, even a hero with special powers will lose their abilities if they lose trust. Trust is calculated as data, and based on that data, the hero's ranking fluctuates. Every two years, the top-ranked heroes gather to compete in a hero tournament. The performance in this tournament updates their "trust value," and the rankings are restructured. The absolute hero who stands at the top of the rankings is called "X"—
