After being unfairly fired, Reito Naoi spirals into desperation and makes a mistake that lands him in jail.
His life changes when a mysterious lawyer offers him a deal: follow her instructions, and he’ll be released. That instruction comes from Chifune Yanagisawa, his late mother’s half-sister, who commands him to become the Guardian of the Camphor Tree at Tsukigo Shrine.
