At a school where orphaned children are raised to become weapons of war, a group of young girls struggle to survive. Their lessons are designed to teach them how to kill. Their daily lives are such that, when someone dies, they are barely even allowed the luxury of mourning. This is a world where absurdity and the constant presence of death are simply considered normal.
“Why is everyone okay with this?”
Fourteen-year-old Sheena cannot accept the circumstances she has been forced into.
Then, one night, she encounters Mimi, a small girl covered in blood. No matter what reality awaits them, they will keep living.
This is the story of the innocent wishes these girls discover amid a cruel and unforgiving world.
