Yoshizou Yukawa, an ardent enthusiast of hot springs and skilled at locating their sources, is a hot springs hunter on a mission to rejuvenate a town by discovering a hidden spring. Tragically, during his quest, he slips off a cliff and meets his demise. However, he experiences a rebirth in another realm thanks to an Inari deity residing in a secluded shrine among the rocks.
Accompanied by Mayudama, the messenger princess of Inari, Yoshizou's passion for hot springs is reignited as he indulges in a bath with Mayudama in the newly-found spring. Soon after, the scene is joined by the presence of an elf girl.
