Hiiragi Utena has always admired magical girls and envisioned herself as a heroic figure fighting against evil. When a doll-like entity informs her that dormant magical power lies within her, she's thrilled with anticipation. However, her vibrant dream takes a surprising turn when she transforms into a villain!
Uninterested in aligning with the forces of evil, Hiiragi attempts to quit, but her plans are thwarted when a group of magical girls emerges, declaring war. In the ensuing battle, Hiiragi discovers an unexpected enjoyment in causing pain to others as her true nature begins to surface.
