In a small village, Yoshiki and Hikari, both the same age, had grown up together since they were little.
The blazing sun.
The ever-present cry of cicadas in the trees.
An ice cream shared on the way home.
Laughter over the most trivial things.
It was just another ordinary summer day... until:
“...You’re not Hikari, are you?”
Six months ago, Hikari went missing in the mountains.
One week later, he simply wandered back home.
His voice, his appearance—he looked and sounded exactly like the Hikari Yoshiki had always known.
But something deep within him was clearly… moving.
“Hikari’s gone… so then what are you?”
And so, Yoshiki begins walking a path alongside this “something” wearing his friend’s face—
as if it were just another ordinary day.
But around the same time, a series of bizarre incidents begin plaguing the village.
The curtain rises on a youthful horror tale that slowly spirals into the unknown—
as they begin to fall into the depths of an unseen “something.”
