This is the story of the "Ogamiyā Kyōgokudō" before it opened as an old bookstore. The setting is post-war Tokyo in 1948 (Showa 23). Kana Kusakabe, a second-year student at a newly established high school, meets the new Japanese language teacher, Akihiko Nakazenji.
Around Kana, strange and mysterious events involving supernatural occurrences begin to unfold one after another. Today, once again, Kana seeks help and opens the door to the library preparation room where the grumpy Nakazenji-sensei is waiting...
