This is the story of Kikkun, an extraterrestrial lifeform who came from a distant planet with the goal of invading Earth. Kikkun and the members of the Japan Invasion Team are assigned to carry out the conquest of Japan. However, as they settle into their new surroundings, they become increasingly charmed by the country's comfort, culture, and way of life.
Before long, they begin to forget their original mission altogether. In fact, they grow so fond of Japan that they decide not to conquer it—but to protect it. Not just Japan, but Earth itself.
