Gachiakuta is a hard-hitting battle action series following Rudo, a young orphan born and raised in the slums—home to the descendants of criminals, outcasts abandoned by society.
Created by Kei Urana (story) and Hideyoshi Andou (graffiti design),
the manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) in February 2022.
It quickly made waves, earning the Global Special Prize in the Next Manga Awards 2022.
Urana, in developing Gachiakuta, envisioned a world where the raw edge of graffiti art could enhance the story’s rebellious spirit.
To bring that vision to life, they teamed up with graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou, whose designs breathe chaotic beauty into the series.
